Add a CommentPrimeval? Gonna say that this show is primarily for science fiction geeks of near adolescence. And it's better than the average product displayed on the Sy Fy channel, what with the torrent of 'killer wildebeast' or 'massive tornadoes' movies that are a staple of that channel's programming. Hence the 'above average' rating. It is of a distinctly 'twenty-something' orientation (although I am wondering how long that term is going to be used). Otherwise how is it that a character that was a more of a 'side-show' in the first series becomes nearly a lead character? Yes, it's Andrew Lee Potts. And yes, I know that he is a lead, if you assume that having second billing in the list of 'stars' of this show makes you a lead. Hell, he gets the girl after all. And she doesn't spend the whole series railing at him about his need to grow up and stop acting like a teenager. Yeah, you guessed it. It's a fantasy. Did I forget to say that?
They've done good with the fourth and fifth seasons. Make sure to watch the "extras" for more insight into New Dawn.
