A stranger with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don't welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde. It's a town that lives in fear.

Really good movie!
Daniel Craig does a good job of playing the tough cowboy. The special effects and backdrops were far above average. The action was pretty good. Nothing else good enough to mention as a plus. Negatives include the forgettable performances by everyone else, including Ford, dialogue and story. The fact that there is almost no relation between this movie and the graphic novel it was based on was a problem for me too.
