Dallas and Peabody as well as most characters are played by actors in a movie until the actor playing Peabody is murdered at a party attended by most of the characters in the books as well as the actors playing them. Very good book and Roark is still devine.

Add a CommentNot like the other In Death books. Usually there's a body dropping every few pages but this one was like a typical murder investigation. A good long read all in all with hardly much action. Eve still has her wits even though it's getting a bit sappy with marriage. I hope her next book has more action and more Roarke!
Finally got my copy! Already read 50 pages during my lunch break :)
Didn't have the usual tight script - seemed too long - too much descriptions - story didn't move until about halfway through the book. Very disappointing
Is it possible to get this on epub? I love this series and I'm disappointed it isn't available on the ereader yet.
I can’t get enough of these books. The characters, the writing style, the plot—I enjoy it all! My only problem was keeping all the suspects straight. By the time I reached the denouement I was wishing for a murder board of my own!
