Following the intrigue and action of The Burning Land and Sword Song, this latest chapter in Bernard Cornwell's epic saga of England is a gripping tale of divided loyalties and mounting chaos. Add a CommentAs usual, Cornwell does not disappoint. I am most relieved to see that he has left plenty of room for further books in this series. I am going to be terribly unhappy when the final book does arrive and i realize that there will be no more Uhtred of Babbenburg to come. A terrific yarn.
Ii Hope Thiss Good
While I like this series I have to admit this is likely it's worst offering thus far. I think he is buildng up to a really good next Saxon novel so I would suggest reading it if you are following the series.
