Quotes
Add a QuoteMy DVD series finally comes to an end. I'm all caught up with everything. In the time of Arthur. End of Summer. Aug.13,-Sept.16.
I couldn't help but watch every episode. And not just the ones with Emma Bell. Although I still don't like the fact that she (Amy) gets killed. She is 23 in this show ,soon to be that special age of 24 this Dec.17,. She's also the last........ Tonight . And that's it. tomorrow I start my return to Lancaster endevouer. 7:35p
Glenn: Nice moves there, Clint Eastwood. You're the new sheriff come riding in to clean up the town? Rick Grimes: Wasn't my intention. Glenn: Yeah, whatever. Yeehah. You're still a dumb a**.

Comment
Add a CommentI thought I would be bored with zombies after two or three episodes, but this smart series does not fail to captivate its audience. I look forward to Season 2.
I am now completely caught up. I wish I had gotten on the bus with this show last year. It's great and the stories make you feel each and every time. You would never think you could find so many eloquent, lovely, story-telling in such a harsh setting environment. The zombie landscape has been rethought and I hope that movies, T.V. shows and books dealing with the monster of our fears like these get made more and more.
You'd think you might get sick of so many zombies, but you'd be wrong. I love this show!! Yes, I'll agree there are some plot holes and inconsistencies, but whenever I start to think about them I remind myself that I'm watching a show about zombies...and I drop it and move on. Looking forward to seeing where Season 2 takes us!
Good show, it's interesting that the main idea is somehow based on a - "The Day of the Triffids" a post-apocalyptic novel published in 1951 by the English science fiction author John Wyndham Parkes Lucas Beynon Harris, under the pen-name John Wyndham. The Day of the Triffids was cited by Karl Edward Wagner as one of the thirteen best science-fiction horror novels. Arthur C. Clarke called it an "immortal story"." Same idea, man wakes up in hospital, doesn't know / remember what had happened. There is death and destruction, in this case it's a virus (similar theme you will find in other productions e.g. Resident Evil, 28days later, etc.). *** Good show otherwise. ***
Yes.
I loved it
This is a very good show. A strong cast and addicting storyline. I'm looking forward to season two.
Impressive visually but weak in the story. There seem to be a number of inconsistencies and plot holes which are pasted over by having the main character not asking questions or having any curiosity.
This is better than any zombie movie I've seen (and I've seen the 'good' ones). The acting, the surprise plot twists and the twilight zone/sci-fi feel make this a different experience than zombie movies. More than anything, I like that so much of the action takes place during daylight hours. This show is confident of it's story and doesn't resort to poor lighting and cinematography tricks, like Supernatural - a show I loathe.
Wow AMC does it again...this is one of the most riveting TV shows I've ever seen!
