Go Cuffs/Han/Hunts! One of my current favorite series ever... Awesome character personalities. Also, random connection, anyone ever notice how people tend to name handsome, charismatic scoundrels Han? e.g. Han Solo... yeah, random
Great book but the copy i got from the library is missing 30 some pages near the end of the book.
Long ago, Hanalea loved a wizard, then the wizard went insane and had to be killed by the clans. Since then, wizards and queens are bound by very strict rules, so that the tragedies never happen again. Raisa, as crown princess, knows these rules very well, but that hasn't stopped her flirting with Micah Bayar, son of the High Wizard of the Fells and a wizard in his own right. She knows they can never marry, so she sees it as harmless. But then Raisa notices that her mother is making questionable decisions. Han Alister, or Cuffs as he is sometimes know, used to be a Street Lord, but has left that life. He struggles to make money to help his mother and sister, but he longs to live with the Clans, where he has spent every summer. But a run in with the same Micah Bayar, who seems to have forbidden magic, leads Han back into a life of danger. Can the two young heroes thwart their enemies and save themselves and those they love, while saving the kingdom. This book, by author, Cinda Williams Chima, takes a bit to get going, and has a tense, claustrophobic feel. But once Han and Raisa's path inevitably cross, the book picks up speed and becomes an exciting action adventure story, where the reader is rooting for the two protagonists.

Girls and boys alike will enjoy this novel. It starts a little bit slowly but it gets to be very gripping quite fast. After I read this I immediately came on here gain to get the next book. It's like that :D
