This is an impressive historical novel, terse, convincing, affecting and so well written it trasports readers to another time and place so that when they close the book, they are astonished to find themselves returned to their everday lives.
Great book! Excellent insight into the Native Amercian "resettlement". While fictional, much of what happened, minus the main plot-line, could have been real. Great read.
Great story
A tongue-in-cheek fictional tale based on the true Brides for Indians Treaty.
